Electronics design, schematic to handoff

Every board is designed against its real constraints — cost, power, enclosure, supply — not copied from a reference design and hoped for.

Feasibility & architecture

Block diagrams, risk lists, and honest part-availability checks before any copper is drawn. If the idea has a physics problem or a cost problem, you hear it in week one — not at layout.

Schematic capture

Sensors, radios, power, and processing selected for the product's real constraints, captured in clean, reviewable schematics with the reasoning behind each decision written down.

PCB layout

Multi-layer layout with controlled impedance where the signals demand it, EMI-aware stackups, and boards shaped for the enclosure they live in — not the other way around.

Sensing & signal chains

Analog front ends that survive the real world: filtering, calibration, and validation against reference instruments, so the number on the dashboard is the number in the tank.

Wireless integration

Radio selection, antenna placement, and matching for BLE, Wi-Fi, and sub-GHz links — designed for certification from the first revision, not patched for it at the end.

Power & battery

Charging, protection, and power-path design with deep-sleep budgets measured in microamps. Battery life is estimated at the schematic and then proven on the bench.

Prototype bring-up

First articles assembled and brought up in-house with instrumented debugging and bring-up firmware. You get a working prototype in your hands, not a render.

DFM & production handoff

Bills of materials with sourced alternates, fabrication and assembly packages, quotes from manufacturing partners, and support through the pilot run.

Most products die in the hand-offs — the EE shop blames the firmware, the app agency blames the board. Here, the person routing your traces knows what the firmware needs and what the app will ask of it, so decisions made in copper are honored all the way to the cloud.

Fair questions

Can you do just the PCB design if we have our own firmware team?

Yes. The board seat hires on its own: you get schematics, layout sources, fabrication and assembly packages, and bring-up notes, and your team takes it from there. Because we also write firmware, the handoff reads like it was written by people who have to live with boards like this — because we do.

What does a board design cost?

It depends on scope, stated honestly: a focused engagement — layout for an existing schematic, a respin, a feasibility study — is days to weeks of work. A full product electronics design runs in phases, each quoted before it starts. Tell us what you're building and you'll have a concrete number after one conversation, not a discovery gauntlet.

Do you build the prototypes yourselves?

Yes — first articles are assembled and brought up in-house, with pilot runs through manufacturing partners. Prototyping isn't outsourced here; it's the point.

Who owns the design files?

You do — 100% of the IP we develop for you, source files included. We're glad to sign an NDA before you share anything.

Can you get the product through FCC / CE?

We design for compliance from the first revision — radio integration, EMI-aware layout — and support you through accredited test labs when it's time to certify.

We're not near New Jersey — does that matter?

No. On-site works across the NJ–NYC–Philadelphia corridor; everything else runs remote, with hardware moving by courier. Most of the bench-to-client loop is a video call and a tracking number.
